I'm getting back into my own drawings - and it may as well be chooks. This is a holiday sketch of Pooki, our matriarch chicken, queen of the Pekin flock. It's Monday morning, my freelance day, and I'm officially working from my new space! Unfortunately, so were a whole colony of ants - they were setting up nest in my folio drawers (*horror!*). A warning for backyard studios in Brisbane: fill gaps, and check the studio every day for ants. I've been doing this, but they're persistent (who wouldn't be, it's a haven in here). I seem to have won today.
Graphics for Conservation is a great guide for producing graphics for papers and presentations. It covers graphs/charts and maps, with really practical advice.
